The UCU Law Society is a non-profit, student-based association. We are the student-oriented government that represents the students’ voice, opinions, and engages the faculty of law and UCU administration where required. We provide leadership that enhances the student life experience of all students and encourage all subscribed law society members to take full advantage of the membership.
The Uganda Christian University Law Society (UCULS) is governed by the UCU Law Society Constitution. UCULS is the representative body of all law students at UCU, School of law. All student leaders including the Executive are elected by law students and are not paid any financial consideration for the positions they are elected into. The Cabinet is comprised of the positions of President, Vice President, Speaker, General Secretary, Finance Secretary, Academics Secretary, Deputy Speaker, Deputy Academics Secretary, Publicity Secretary, Organizing Secretary, Deputy Organizing Secretary.
The UCULS establishes and encourages great relationships with other UCU Clubs and Associations, however the UCU Law Society exists independent of such clubs and associations.
